Raubtier - (2003)
The completely unique 17 metre Catamaran, designed by Terry Read, was custom designed with a shallow draft and the owners own surface drive propulsion units to navigate the Foxton bar Raubtier features; shallow draft, custom surface drive propulsion units, moon pool.
Anthony Morris, the owner and operator of and Foxton company Fineline Fisheries, needed his new vessel to be fast and have a shallow draft to enable him to work the Manawatu River bar. Once the site of a busy trading port, the mighty river draws its water from a huge agricultural catchment area before spilling into the tasman Sea near the town of Foxton
